Yesterday, at approximately 2:19 a.m., a 1998 Nissan was heading north on Dodge from Church Street when the driver lost control, hit as many as nine parked cars on both sides of the street and rolled over near Lyons Street.

The passenger, Lamart Bailey, 45, a U.S. Army veteran and resident of Evanston was pronounced dead at Evanston hospital. Mr. Bailey was trapped in the overturned vehicle and the fire department had to extricate him from the vehicle.

The driver, 42, also an Evanston resident, now is reported in serious but stable condition at Evanston Hospital. The full story can be found here. A very unfortunate, sad accident. Victims of automobile accidents have to often deal with unreasonable insurance adjusters almost immediately after their traumatic experience.
